CLASS WORK: Interpretive Illustration #2 part1/2 - Drawing Music

Well...this was a strange class.

So...today we were asked to listen to music, and then draw it. Well, paint it really. Every time we
heard a different instrument, we were supposed to switch colours and brushes to match what we heard. To be perfectly honest, I didn't really get it. I mean I get the idea, but I just don't really associate sounds with colours and textures like that. At least the second part of class was more up my alley :)  (To be continued...)

  1. In spite of it's blistering colour saturation, I prefer #3. After looking at many of these from different students I find the most successful have a sense of depth and cohesion without trying to show anything distinctly.
